Deck will be painted blue for two reasons. One, I have more blue paint than white but the main reason is I put the deck on and mowed about a half acre and came in to rest and a quick thunderstorm came up. The white hood looked awful but the blue didn't show the dirt / water spots as bad soooooo blue it is. A chrome stack? Love the idea but since the exhaust runs out the front under the sheet metal that's probably not going to happen. After all, the hood does have to be opened to put fuel in and check the oil etc. I'm hoping I can get another 9 years out of this gal, she really has been a good mower. Man down the road stopped by and asked when I bought the new mower, I got a laugh!
