I spoke with the Old Man in Kentucky at Rolling Acres Tractor Shop. He has a Fordson at his shop that was pulled out of a woods where it sat many years. He said to pull the plug on the pump and check to see if the pump has fuel in it fill the pump with ATF and clean diesel. Then take a suction gun fill ,it with ATF and clean diesel and push the ATF thru the filter fill it and the line and into the pump follow it with clean diesel and the dummy tank can be about a qt. which should run the tractor long enough to see if you have any major problems. He said the ATF will clean and protect the pump and injectors! He also said he would work on it for you if you needed his help. I have seen him repair a lot of tractors and get them going in some strange ways!
