The pipe screwed to the cylinder head is the injector leak off pipe back to tank so you will not get fuel from there until the engine is running.
You first need to bleed the fuel filter via the vent screws on the top then bleed the fuel pump which is that lump on the side with four pipes going up to the head. There is a bleed screw on the side of the pump just under where the pipes fit.
If you cannot get fuel as far as the lift pump with the glass bowl it could be that the filter inside the fuel tap is blocked.
The fuel going to the pump and the filter must be completely air free and a good flow before the engine will start.
Once you have it running you can then worry about the injectors. If they need work it is best to take them to a specialist diesel repair shop along with the pump if needed.
