It should be an English Model N. The original color should be a golden yellow. Engine air intake should be through a vertical pipe and through an oil-bath aircleaner. Older models drew it in through a hollow steering column and a waterwash aircleaner. In 1938 they started with "High Compression" on the cylinder head. If there is no serial number in the usual place, it has a replacement engine block. Factory engines were available up to about 1955. After the war hit England, they changed color to green. I don't think any were exported. When the war was over they went back to blue with orange wheels. Perhaps a few came to Canada, but mostly they were replaced by the E27N, a rowcrop model.
