Ok here's what I've got. I hope that someone can give me some ideas. This tractor is giving me fits enough to pull my hair out. I have a 1972 ford 3000 diesel with a genny system. I bought the tractor about 6 mths ago. The guy is a mom and pop dealer. He said that the tractor engine had been rebuilt. Tractor started fine with no issues did smoke pretty good tho. Had no problems up until about 3 months ago. I was using the tractor with a box blade cleaning around the house I killed the tractor to do some other wrk jumped back on the tractor wouldn't start. Used a little gas on a rag over the breather it fired up no prob. Found the return line was cracked thought it was sucking air replaced it. No change. You can crank the tractor if it's been sittin overnight but if you kill it you have to pull start it or you'll never start it. Once started it runs fine. Found a couple other leaks but I've fixed them also. Thanks for any help y'all I appreciate it!!
