Ok, after all the good comments I have received in the past and reading others' posts, I have decided to put a new NAA wiring harness on my 53 Jubilee, add a new 12 volt coil and a new 12 volt regulator. Unless I am wrong, the 6 volt solenoid will work for 12 volt, so I am not replacing it. I am also not replacing the starter. I will also keep my system as a Negative ground. I have been using a 12 volt negative ground system with a Petronix Electronic Ignition module for some time. Tractor runs great....just not charging. The 12 volt generator I put on my tractor is a C4NN10002B part number which I am assuming is a B circuit type. I don't want to fry my new Voltage Regulator, so please tell me the correct method of polarizing. Long post for a (I hope) simple answer. I am hoping Soundguy will see this and straighten me out once and for all but all comments are appreciated.
