No way to say how many were made, but since it has new tires, add $800.00 to $1000.00 to whatever the rest of the tractor is worth.

Seriously though, it depends on the overall condition and the area of the country as to what price it might bring. The fact that it runs doesn't tell us much. If it runs but is in overall crappy condition, even with the new tires it might not be worth much over $2000.00, but in some parts of the country it might bring $2500.00 to $300.00. If it is in truly great condition overall, then it could be anywhere from $3000.00 to $5000.00 depending on where it is located and whether it is the earlier 4 cylinder version or the later 3 cylinder version. Which transmission it has could be a factor as well, as some folks love the S-O-S and others won't have anything to do with them. If it is the earlier 4 cylinder version, and if it has the non-live PTO, that could pull the price down as well.

Check CL for tractors of similar age and size in your area to get an idea of what they're going for. Remember, CL prices are the asking prices, not necessarily what they ended up selling for, so take those with a grain of salt. Aother good source for finding what things are going for is machinefinder.com.

Generally the 4000 that will bring in the best price these days is the later 3 cylinder version with the 8 speed transmission, which always came with independent PTO. The row crop chassis can push the price up a little from the all purpose ag chassis version.
