I've decide to remove the hoe (for hose repair)from the 740 loader on the 69' 4500. I doubt if it has ever been removed before.
Since the crowder line has burst, the boom is vertical at this moment.
I remove the nuts that hold the tie bar links and using the stabilizers and lift nudged it up a bit. but the tie bar links really don't want to come loose.
Any tips, to get this done without problems?
Also the manual says to sit it on "jack stands". I'm assuming these are not the ones sold at Harbor Freight. Can railroad ties or concrete blocks be used?
