Your tractor should have the late style with advance built into the housing. Bolt on was used on early diesels, unless someone replaced the pump with an early one. Valve cover must be removed to get at the return line across top of injectors. Most tractors I do the pump first, as owners want to leave the top alone if possible. Injector inlet tube gaskets can erode and leak also. That shows up on the injector poptester.
