Hey guys me again,
I have figured out that someone has been messing with my tractor where I keep it. I have to store it outside and about 30 miles from the house. Anyway,i had water in the oil, which is common because the tarp blew off and water went down where the exhaust pipe goes into the manifold. Changed the oil and then went to check the the transmission fluid level. The cap on top of the housing was completely unscrewed and there was water in the transmission housing as well. I went ahead and started the tractor and gas started coming out the back of the carb where the fuel line goes into the carb. Someone had unscrewed the fitting on the back of the carb and I know that the cap on the tranny was tight because I use a set of big channel locks to take it off and put it on. I also now think someone removed the tarp.
So my question,
What should I do to get the fluid and water out of the tranny? Do I just let it drain out or should I spray something in there like carb cleaner? Also what fluid can I use in the tranny? Rural king has Universal Hydraulic Transmission Fluid that says it can be used in Fords as:
Hydraulic Medium
Power Steering Fluid
Power Brake Fluid
Power Take Off (PTO) Fluid
Implement Drive Fluid
Transmission Fluid.
I cannot find what my old owners manual calls for.

The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony. The seed bed was soft enough that the rear end would spin and slowly work its way to the downhill side of the gardens slight incline. From this, we learned our lesson sinc
