1. Clutch release looks the same as on XX1 series. I have been into two of mine and they look the same and they have a spring on the shaft.
2. I have done rear main on 9000 appears from parts book to be the same type as yours. They list a special tool but it is easy enough to do with common sense. trans input appears very similar. It was no big deal.
I agree, with this site for parts. CNH is to me only a last resort now. I used to try to support them to try to help keep parts coming for old tractors, but it appears to me that now they would just like for us to go away.
