I have a 1964 Ford 4000 heavy duty industrial tractor with a 4-speed transmission and according to the service manual there are (listed as 2 required) spacer's transmission shifter plate Part # CONN 7B443A and look like they are located between reverse gear plate and 2nd and 4th gear shift plate. They look like a square washer. I would appreciate any information about their function and exact location in the transmission. My transmission does not have them in there. Also, is there anyplace to purchase them. Thanks for any information. Also looking for input shaft part # C3NN7C244A for Sherman forward/reverse transmission.
