New rims can be found easy. Many places have them like Valu-Bilt for one. That said yes you can clean up the old rims. Maybe weld a washer on the valve stem holes so as to fix them. One thing I do when I clean up and weld up holes in rims is paint them with the spray on bed liner stuff you can buy at auto parts stores. And if you really want to go extra good get them Rhino lined but that costs $$ but then you have a life time warranty
