Not to hijack your thread David, but I'm dealing with the same issue on a 5000 I just picked up, however my asc won't even budge. I assume it's in the out pos'n (3-pt not working) but can someone verify how much plastic sleeve should be exposed in the out pos'n? (Mine is showing approx 1 inch. ) I'll most likely be removing the top cover in hopes of seeing something, but waiting on service manual to get here. Thanks all, Mike
