Thanks you guys for all the tips. I was asked what type hydraulic oil I was using. Its Massey Ferguson hydraulic-trans fluid. Before that I tried some TSC brand fluid. I was just reading the label on the Massey stuff and it was for the older models that shared the same fluid for the differential, trans and hydraulics. My 800 hundred has separate compartments, so I may have been using the wrong stuff all along.I am going to try to find some of that 80/90 weight mineral oil that was mentioned in one of the tips posted. I have had the 800 for at least 15 years and it has always acted very slow in the winter until it was all warmed up. I usually keep it in the garage in the winter to keep it warmer but this year I can't so its in the barn where its real cold, so I thought I might finally try to fix it. Thanks again everyone, P.Z.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
