New starter from CNH for our TW30 was over $400. Got one off of ebay for $100 shipped to my door. Most likely came from the same plant that makes CNH parts. Has been working fine for 2 years now. I knew the starter was going so I had it on hand. One Sunday morning the old starter belched black smoke. I had the $100 spare on hand to fix it and then ordered another $100 spare to have on hand as it is the same starter for the 9000, 8700, and TW30. Not even going to rebuild the old starter. I can buy 4 new ones with out core charges for the price of a rebuild or new CNH starter.
