Mike, I use it on my concrete drive and 8 gravel drives. I drag my snow into the road or leave it at the opposite end of drive. Don't like to leave rocks in grass.
I built this last year. We didn't have any snow in Indiana to see how well it works.
I can say the slag pip will never be removed from on the blade. If the gravel in drive is a little loose, the pipe will level the rock out without digging in too far. I love it. I level the gravel drives before it snows, that way I'm less likely to remove gravel.
I would recommend you try it. It was easy to make.
