Tim........iff'n you use the modern 12V squarecan ignition coil on yer weird 4-nipple frontmount dizzy, just use the "infamous ballast resistor" on the backside of yer dash panel underneath the amp-meter. DO NOT USE the additional 12V-to-6V converting resistor. Understand?? 1-resistor ONLY!!!
Do you know what you gitt when you connect a 12V coil in series (like flashlite batterys) with a 12V-to-6V converting resistor??? WEAK SPARKIES!!!
Points are still set at 0.015" on the kitchen table. use same condenser. (its good fer 100V) Recommend AutoLite 437 sparkies gapped to 0.025" ........Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister who knows 8-ways to convert to 12V and they all work the first time
