The reference book I looked at lists '61 as the last year for x01's. And as far as I know that is right - the 'prior' 2/4000's were built from '62 to '64 (and some in '65). That book (and I) could be wrong... but here is the s/n breakdown by year that it has: 1957 starting at s/n 1001 1958 starting at s/n 11977 1959 starting at s/n 58312 1960 starting at s/n 105943 1961 starting at s/n 155531
