Transmission, lift and rear end have a common sump. You add oil by removing the cap just left of the gear shift.
Original spec was 90wt that is yellow metal safe. You can find it at Tractor Supply or NAPA. Problem is you don't know what's in it now - Might be a good idea to change it if it's low. Takes a little under 5 gallons.
Lever on the left side engages your PTO - Which also drives the hydraulic pump for your lift. If your lift is working, your PTO is engaged - If not, try moving the PTO shift lever in the opposite direction.
