I think that Log Hog was a separate company that bought tractors from Ford and fitted them with the forestry specific attachments and then sold them.
A lot of companies modified Ford tractors like this and sold them with their own names on them. It was more cost effective than building their own tractors from the ground up, especially in niche markets where they couldn't sell enough units to make up for the cost of tooling up an entire assembly line. Most of them still said Ford somewhere on them, as they usually didn't spend the time or effort to repaint the entire unit.
