I thought your tractor was a TO20 or TO30 until I saw your post about the PTO on a TO35, you didn't actually say what it was. The Hydraulics dropping on your tractor can be something or very little. Usual one is the "O" rings on the High Pressure Oil Pipe on the front right corner under the square plate, these compress and should be changed regularly. It can be the Safety Valve, no check valve on this model. It can be the valves in the side chambers leaking through wear. One that is usually forgotten is the Control Valve. It has a series of thin sealing washers that it moves through, these washers wear and the oil escapes past them. If you use the PHB you should be using the Position Control Lever (the round one) to lift and lower and hold at whatever point you wish. If you use the Draft Lever (square one) when you lift you will be discharging the Safety Valve and it will wear, then leak. Remove the PTO Lever to see inside, you can see everything through that side with a lamp. You can change the Safety Valve through the Right side cover easily. If you need info about doing this work or the correct way to operate the Hydraulics on your TO35, email me and I will send it.....John....fergusontractors@tiscali.co.uk

As far as I was aware a fordson was a fordson and it was only through trial an
