I have a Delco one-wire alt. and have had no problems with it. It"s on my "48 TE 20. It is my understanding that the voltage regulator is INTERNAL on this unit, so you should not be concerned about adding one. I"d take it to a shop and have it tested. It"s free most places. Please let us all know how this is resolved.
