Jason, these old mounted pickers are a trip. I have an old John Deere 100, built in 1948, semi-mounted picker set up to work on my TO-35.
a lot going on around you, but at least the old john deere has a trail wheel and a side wheel to help carry the load.
from my experience, if I had to buy another one row picker, I would look for a pull type picker, New Idea or John Deere brand, as it would have less weight on the tractor.
good luck and be safe these old machines can be very dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
