Hello, I have my grandfathers 59 MF 50, which about a month ago the hydraulics stopped working. I took the top cover off, drained the fluid which was a little milky, removed the pump and cleaned it good to remove any milky fluid. I didn"t notice any cracked or damaged parts so I put it back together they way my uncle"s I&T shop manual shows and now the hydraulics work for up but wont go back down. I took the side plate cover off, reached in and moved the valve lever for the relief valve and the arms went down. Im not sure if its the position or draft control levers or the springs, none of it looks damaged.
