I have just finished overhauling the hydraulics - yipee!! they now work a treat!
I have used it for a few hours and all is OK, apart from there is now black engine oil weeping from the bell housing when I come to a stop. I would say that there is a about quarter a cup of oil comes out, then it stops. My research suggests that it now needs a new rear crank seal and that this is big job. Could this oil leak possibly be anything else?
My question is can I live with the oil leak without doing serious damage. Is it Ok to continue using the tractor or do I need to fix it immediately?
