I was going to respond to your baby Prince thread on the "military channel" forum, but chose to retreat and regroup here in our close knit mealie bag redoubt... I am happy the baby is in good health, happy for the family and the country-and Commonwealth!.... and hope he keeps his nose clean! I think a childhood in Dunesfliggan or where ever you live... studying potato horticulture...it will do him good! The gang upstairs is rather close minded at times... many times.. hey they are scared of going into New York City! Speaking of which, back in the 40's and 50's... (yes before I was born!) My mum would go there with her workmates for special occasions- on the cheap Sunday trains to Grand Central Station. She was there with workmates to watch General MacArthur's (got the sack) retirement parade... she lost tract of her friends, parade started going by, so stayed where she was...good view... next to... Edward the 8th... and Mrs Simpson... no camera, no autograph, just small talk... tell something like that upstairs, they"d throw beer bottles! get me drunk enough... I might tell you a Fergie story... the Duchess...not the tractor... why did I ever come back here and get involved with tractors and farms.... and sickle bar mowers?? oooooohhh....
