I have seen many, many people change starters and batteries when in reality it was their battery cables that had went bad. I even got cussed once when I was in the auto parts business because a guy changed 3 starters on his Toyota truck and it still wouldn"t turn over. I told him to change the negative cable cause it was bad and I got cussed because he said the cables look fine. He wouldn"t believe me that they corrode and break down under the insulation. 6 hours later the same guy came back in work and apologized to me. I was right it was his negative cable all along.
