I have arrived home from a very successful few days at the Balmoral Show in Northern Ireland. This is our 'state fair' come 'county show' and the pinnacle of the show biz year for the cattle and horse men. We were invited to put on a vintage Ferguson display.....(You may remember my' Ferguson Bridge' posting.) Just some pics of how we got on and how busy we were, I sold a load of tractor parts!!!......The last few pics are at 6.00 am before the crowd arrived. We had to wash and polish every tractor every morning as they were thick with dust. not often a problem in Norn Iron!! Sam

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
