Where you doing this job about an hour and a half ago? I was. Brand new TSC bowl, leaked, and didn't seem to have good flow- into an inline filter I decided to keep on there. Took the screen out, cause I know from experience this and nylon gasket doesn't hold gas. With screen out, still leaked. Gasket swollen, so off it went, PO had a small gate valve, and the barb hose fitting... so just like you, that's what it will run with- at least for now. Cork gaskets seem to work better, especially with the screen in place. A bear to make, so got to try and find one- maybe again TSC? I do like the idea that a sediment bowl does one job an inline can't- water trap. Rather have it stay there than the carb bowl. What does Red Green say? 'We're all in this together!'
