As others have said, repair the Carburettor, although fuel may not be running out, the fuel will be higher in the float chamber because of a leak and that will cause it to run rich and use more fuel. It only requires attention to the Float and the small valve above it. You also need to check the adjustment of the height of the fuel in the Float chamber as it may just be that and the fuel is rising too high.Just a matter of bending the tab on the Float.
