Just arrived back this morning from our quick tour of 5 more states in the US. Enjoyed meeting with some of you at the Booneville show, I brought some 35 decals for a British 35 but no-one claimed them!!!! We all really enjoyed the friendship and the tractors at this show. Monday we went on a tour of the Hesston MF factory, well worth the visit to see rolls of sheet metal straightened out and turn into a combine/baler or a swather was just something else. Tues we travelled to OK to see an excellent private Ferguson collection which includes a tractor mate baler currently in pieces for renovation.Wed we travelled to Pittsburg tractors in TX spent 4 hours in their parting out yard, getting those little bits to complete our American Fergusons, We were like kids in a sweet shop (SORRY ....candy store!) suitcases suddenly got very heavy! Well worth a phone call if you are needing parts and the owner and workers couldn't do enough for us.Thurs we drove through ARK and Hill-Billy country to get to Steam-o-rama in Republic/Springfield MO again another great show though it was wet on Friday morning. It was just like the rain we get at home so we did not mind. Back to St.Louis Sat for our flight home to Northern Ireland. Thank-you all for your hospitality and sorry if I missed any-one. Now to start saving again........ Sam
