I sued Springfield Iron and metal here in Missouri and won, for damages to my trailer. They still didnt want to pay after that, so I sent a buddy down with some scrap...and he came back with their bank account info on the check. I filed a garnishment, and after about a month, got the money.
If you find where he's banking, your can garnish his bank account. you dont need the account number, just know the actual bank.
If you know where he works, you can also garnish his wages...go to the county clerk, and ask for the papers.
In some states, you can also direct the Sheriff to seize property, like a car, tractor, or truck, to be sold at a sheriffs sale.
Finally, you also have the right to subpena him back into court, to question him about his assets. If he's a no-show, The judge will issue a warrant for his arrest.
Whatever you do, keep at it! Dont let him get away with it. Remember, in small claims it's YOUR responsibility to collect.
It took me almost 4 months months to get money from this deadbeat LLC. yes, it's frustrating. the wheels turn slowly, but they do turn.
