I don't want to burst your bubble, but we do not need friend's in foreign countries to get scammed. There are several hundred "companies" out there promising people help that are upside down with their home mortgages. All you do is sign the "papers" and you get a reduced rate and lower payments. Only small detail that they do not bother to tell folks is that you are signing over the deed to your home. Oh what a surprise when the homeowners find out. They should take the scammers involved in this and lock them away with NO food. Of coarse, it depends on who they know and are tied to as to wheather they get "caught" or serve time.
