Robert did you replace the cap and rotor? Are you sure that you have good fuel flow? Try a little better grade of gas ,some guy's will say that you only need 87 octane my self i prefer 93octane i personaly have had better luck. and so have my customers i work on alot of old H,M, S/MTA's i only have one that drives me nuts and one day i will get it right, it runs like dog do with no load but put in the field it runs like a bear. I had a M that gave me fits three othere people worked on it everything was new it come down to that the new dist. cap would not fire through no. three put the old cap on it ran great .do you have copper wires or carbon core? if you have carbon core replace with copper Packard 440 if you still have problems E/Mail me .
