It appears that I am getting water into the oil on my super C. I had rebuilt this tractor a few years ago. I had to replace the block, as it had cracked along the water jacket. Found a good block and had the head looked over. Everything seemed to check out ok, that was maybe 5 - 6 years ago. Went change the oil in it today, and mucky mucky... :( It wasn't super creamy white, like I have seen in other water-in-oil situations, but it was obvious that there was something wrong.
I will check the water level in the radiator as soon as it cools off
The tractor sits under a lean, off the side of the shop so I don't think its rain water.
It's sitting in the shop now, with the oil plug out dripping into a pile of kitty litter, thought I would let it sit over night, and check the water level I the morning to see how bad it is leaking.
What do you guys suppose I investigate first. Would it do any good to pull the oil pan, and see if I can find where is coming from?
Water pump maybe? I did replace that when I rebuilt it a while back, but... /shrug

But, I want to talk about my tractor! We didn't even own a lawnmower, and all of a sudden we had enough grass to feed all the starving children of the bovine world. Naturally, I talked
