IH wide front is easy to identify. The saddle (the part that mounts the front end to the tractor) is a cast piece, smooth and rounded.
All aftermarket front ends have saddles made from plate steel and angle iron.
Common aftermarket wide fronts are made by Schwartz, Norden, and Speeco. I know Nordens come from the factory with a serial tag on the saddle. The others may also.
Once you've determined you do NOT have an IH wide front, best thing to do is go on google images and look up pictures of each brand of front end and compare them to what you have.
