Well I got the 26 regular and the 22-36 "Parts Tractor's" hauled into the shop today the regular is just as rough as I remember it being when I took it apart probably 3 years ago. All that is going to be salvageable is the block/ Round ball governor assembly and a few external pieces. I think a cutting torch is the special tool to remove the crank, rods, and crank bearings unless someone has a better method of attacking this fencerow project? If memory serves me correctly the crankcase had 3-4 gal of water in it when we pulled it apart, I pulled 2 of the rod caps off today and the crankshaft has been eaten away by rust beyond salvageability. I plan on using the nice original 30' regular as a donor and installing all of the internals from it into this block. I was wondering if anyone here might have some pictures/ or any information as to some of the parts that are hard to find so I might start looking, or maybe someone here might have some they would part with? I've been told that the multi disc clutch in this tractor is somewhat hard to find when we pulled this one apart is was completely rusted away it looked like a large pile of crushed walnuts. Also the original manifold/ carb were long gone as well, the guy who I got this tractor from removed the steel wheels from this years ago to put on his Allis WC I was wondering if they were different as well as later regulars of F-20's?. at this point any and all information, advice, or part leads is GREATLY APPRECIATED. thank you again..
