I am having a problem with the govenor on my 706 gas. when you open up the throtle it winds up then the rpm"s drop way down,it will then stableize, but then when you put a load on it the rpm"s drop way down and it"s real lazy on gov. response. I took the gov apart but every thing looked ok,however the buffer spring floats back and forth on the fork,is this normal? I adjusted the rod to the carb but did not try the the buffer screw adjustment beyond about one turn in,thanks,Al
