Hey guys! Got my herd thinned down a little (still have a couple for sale) but next on my agenda is to find a nice loader tractor. I want something with power steering, live hydraulics, live PTO, T/A and a fast hitch or 3pt. My budget wont allow for much so Im looking at gas 460, 560, 656, and 706 tractors as they seem to be fairly cheap in my area. Anyway, wondering what a T/A replacement entails on say a 460 or 560. I have never done one but see one in my future. I know its a three way split. Is it matter of pulling the old out, putting the new in and putting everything back together then adjusting the linkages or am I missing steps? Also, what kind of cost am I looking at? Im guessing about $1000. Any pictures would be great! Thanks!
