I put one in my 300 this summer and it was a whole new ball of wax, to mix metaphors. I really like the difference it made. Because of the shift lever being bent to the side it would twist when I tried to shift with the old (very worn) pin in there, now with the new parts it is easy to get in and out of gear. I had over 45 degrees of twist in the lever before, now there is very little to none. Probably would not make as much difference with an H or M because the shift lever is only bent front to back, not sideways, so it wouldn't be as prone to twisting while being shifted. Zach
