My super C will plow, 2nd gear, with a 2-14" C20 fast hitch plow in ground that was turned the year before. It really struggles with new ground in 1st and does an ugly job.
I do have a little genious 2-14 #8 trailer plow that the SC will pull in previously turned ground in 1st gear but struggles.
I have a 53SH that handles the #8 really well. It has a new motor with 3 9/16th domed pistons so it's got good power.
As far as hook up I use a twisted clevis pinned in the braw bar. The JD and IH plows that I have had use a break away hook the drops into the clevis.
