Thanks for the replies, I guess for now it will stay in. The engine runs excellent with 70 lbs oil pressue when warmed up. No oil leaks or strange noises. I think the engine has been gone through because it has all new gaskets throughout, head, oil pan, valve cover and side cover. This spring I will take it to County Line Implement N of Oconto, Wi. to have it put on the dyno to find out the hp. Just doesn't sound right to have a 39 m engine in a 450. thanks again for the information. Larry
