Got a couple simple questions about my newly purchased B. I have noticed a small fresh puddle of oil under the shifter each night after I used it. So I cleaned up all the area under and found it is leaking between the transmission connects to the front half of the tractor (see pic). Not sure what it is called.
I believe it has been leaking for a while. I want to check the oil level and make sure there is enough in there. I found the plug on the side where you check the oil level and see where you add it on top by the shifter. What type of oil should I use? I figured it uses like a 80W-90 gear oil.
Also, is there anyway to fix this or even slow it without splitting the tractor? I don't know if that is something I can tackle or have the tools to do so. Thanks!
