What do you guys consider a "passing grade" for your coolant? I tested my tractors yesterday. One was -40 and the other three were -10. Of course the one with the -40 test is the one that is inside an isulated garage. I live due East of St. Louis and am kinda leary about the -10 ratings. One of the -10 rating tractors I just refilled with Shell coolant 50/50 mix. Kinda ticked me off that the brand new concentrate mixed 50/50 was only -10 rating. I am thinking about removing about a quart of coolant from each of the three (or what ever I can suck out out of the top of the radiator) and re-filling with straight concentrate. Do you think that would get them to atleast -20 or am I wasting my time and money and need not worry? The tractors are Farmall 300 (-40 rating), IH 300U (-10 rating), Farmall B (-10 rating), and a Farmall A (-10 rating).
