I am no expert but I understand that all the 300's were factory gasoline and dealer (or later) conversions to LP. Here is the best photo I have of mine at the moment. I'll try to get a few of the LP system tomorrow if you want.
Pulling the distributor is not really a problem just make sure you mark the rotor position before removal. Then be sure to get it back in the same spot. it's been a while since I did mine and the only thing I remember is the loader was in the way. again I can look at it in the light of day, and possible be of more help then.
