Todd,

I read your note of the 350 LP head need.
I think there are some places as mentioned
in your other followups of getting them. I
do not know all places of availability. I
am wondering, can a person get a head for an
LP engine reconditioned thru normal automotive
machinists ? I think there is a Mathis Eq.
and Berkshire Impl. that advertise in the
Red Power magazine that could answer you in
questions regarding LP gas tractors. I happen
to have an IH 350 LP row-crop my dad bought
new in 1959 I think...still running great and
I hope to re-paint soon. We have used it a
lot for light work, clean engine and I believe
as powerful as a gasoline model. I have had a
devil of a time finding the "350" chrome
emblems for the side of the hood. Anyway,
check out the people more knowledgable for
help....I have not ever had a LP head worked
on. (I would like to have a toy 350 LP tractor)

Last niht I dreamed about the day that I plowed the field of about 10 acres over on what Jimmy and Dandy called the Ledbetter field. I was driving the 1948 8N Ford tractor that Jimmy bought in 48 new This was prebably in about 1951 and maybe even befor the house was built. This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit ... [Read Article]
