I just did a swap of injectors from a 400 to a 450 and the 450 injector lines attach about an 1/8 of a turn clockwise. sorta at a 45° angle to the plain of the head.
Zactly. The 450 lines are easier to put on/take off, but come in from about the 10:30 position and are a bit longer. They came about with the B pumps, somewhere in the late 400 series I am told.
I would check that measurement. I haven't measured those, but it would be very rare to find bolt holes not on a standard inch based spacing. Not that it should matter as the holes should be slotted a bit anyways, or oversized a skosh. Apply torque while popping will help. You won't get a lot of bang from a slide hammer, which sometimes is not a bad thing.
