While I am doing a little work on my 100 I decided to check into why it starts with good oil pressue and drops as it warms up. I pulled the oil pump and it has a small amount of wear on the bottom plate. I have been told to true it up using sandpaper. What grit? Also is there supposed to be a rubber O-ring where the pickup tube connects to the pump? When it gets warm it will barely move the gauge at idle but the valves do not rattle. I tried a new gauge no improvement.
