Had one on a Farmall B. It was mounted vertical on the left front. It had a rubber hose running to the manifold exhaust control . This one was on a cultivator and had a pulley and cable on the pipe that was in the center of the big cylinder. When the exhaust was diverted to the cylinder the pipe and pulley went up raising the implement. Hope this gives you some help.
